17 June 2006 After many years of absence the Annual school fete was back this year. The fete was organised jointly by the school and the PTA and run like clockwork. What a fabulous day! We couldn't have asked for a better weather, and people kept coming throughout the day. Everyone had a great time. These pictures will give you an idea of some of the events that went on... The football tournament was extremely popular and run through most of the day Each of the school's classes ran their own stalls, all with
great success. ...spinning Jenny and hook-a-duck...
... glamour parlour, bottle stall...
... toys & books... ... and dozens more! The "paint a flag" competition proved extremely popular as well, ...and on "splash attack", the messier it got, the more fun the kids had!
But of course no fete would be complete without the bouncy castle...
... and for lunch: barbeque and ice cream ...
A kind dad with DJ skills provided us with music throughout the day, but the highlight of the day for the pop followers was the live performance from Mark Joseph which was based on the World Cup football theme...
...and was an instant hit with all the pop fans! Thank you Mark! Finally, you could get refreshments for a small donation, buy school clothing gear... ... home-made cakes ... ...or win one of the raffle prizes! Thank you to everyone who help organize the fete and everyone who took the
time to join us on the day. What a way to welcome the summer! See you all next year :-)
